ABOUT SLUT CLOTHING CO.
We are a Cornish based independent boutique clothing label devoted to making high quality clothes for girls and guys to look good in, whilst having a damn good time.
Owned and run by surfers from Porthleven, Cornwall, our roots are in surfing, skating, music, design and partying. We aim to be a refreshing alternative to the corporate surf brands which dominate todays market, whilst still being able to relate to the great many of you who couldn't care less about surfing but share our interests in brilliant clothes, partying and just plain enjoying life.
WE MAKE PARTIES TOO
As well as making clothes we also organise parties and run one of the finest regular club nights in Cornwall, "Love Riot". In keeping with our enphasis on fun, Love Riot is a place where we actively encourage all out debauchery. People have been known to be thrown out for behaving! HOXTON WHORES
One of the hottest house DJ/production duos in the world right now. The Hoxton Whores hold residencies at London's finest house clubs Pacha & The Cross as well as regularly headlining some of the best parties around the globe.
RY SPENCELEY
Widely regarded as Cornwall's best electro, disco, house DJ's. Ry is the resident for our club night - Love Riot.
JON KENNEDY
The world famous DJ/producer/drummer/remixer signed to Grand Central and Tru Thoughts Records. Jon proudly keeps a coouple of Slut tees on him whilst touring round the UK and beyond.
RUSS MULLINS
As well as being one of Newquay's top surfers, Russ is equally well known for his ability to wreak havoc after nightfall.
ROHAN INGLIS
Slut co-founder, Love Riot party promoter, Bugga front man and one of the UK's best underground bodyboarders. Rohan is currently featured on the cover of Threesixty magazine and like Russ also has strong inclination for nurturing chaos when booze is at hand.
MICKEY SMITH
Slut's main photographer. Mickey is widely regarded as the UK's best surf photographer and journalist, and is well and truly up there with the best in the world.
BUGGA
Cornwall's pink dress wearing rock gods fronted by non other than Mickey, Rohan and Mongalloyd. The band currently lies dormant but watch out as they may launch another attack on the musical world when it's least expected.
MONGALLOYD
Slut's marketing man, Bugga's lead trianglist and definitely one of Cornwall's biggest party monsters. Monga is much feared for being able to bring any size bouncer to tears in seconds using nothing more than his lips. Watch out for the Mongalloyd interview coming soon.
HISTORY OF SLUT
'Slut' began life as a brand somewhat accidentally, out amongst the nightclubs of West Cornwall (UK), back in the spring of 2002. A couple of cocky young guys instigated the concept whilst 'innocently' experimenting with new ways of getting laid. The fellas struck gold once they began partying with the word "Slut" stylishly emblazoned across the front of their t-shirts.
Within hours the sex pests in question not only found themselves being offered some 'interesting' propositions; but were also literally inundated with requests from fellow free-thinkers - desperate to know where they could get themselves a piece of this already legendary cult clothing phenomenon.
After being hassled to the point where people were camping outside their front door, they eventually made a selfless decision to do the right thing and put the interests of the fun loving community first. So it was, our two hungover rookie entrepreneurs found themselves plunged into 'business', supplying 'Slut' clothing to the frothing hordes.
Fast forward a few years, and the original core 'ethics' of the founders continue to dictate everyday life at 'Slut'. Despite the 'work' that's seen the brand evolve from humble beginnings into this fine collection of online loveliness; it's comforting to see their team of life-loving, party-going girls and boys are ultimately dedicated to upholding company policy - continuing to "Prioritise sex and partying however the journey ahead may unfold..."
Now with the ease of ordering "Slut clothing" over the internet at everyone's finger tips, fun loving, fashion loving, sex crazed fanatics all over the world will soon be starting some sort of cult that will eventually immerse the world into a 'Slut" revolution.
